Seven down, ...Eternity to go... Hooray!!!!

Those of you who follow my wife and our family on this blog know that she always has some creative and clever thing to say about our life experiences. I've tried for the past hour to think of something like that and I have now come to the conclusion that she is just a lot better at blogging than I am. Hence the big seven with a circle around it as the best image I could find on the internet for this post.

However, seven years ago today, I knelt accross the alter, took my beautiful bride by the hand, and couldn't stop staring into her eyes as I covenanted to love her for time and all eternity. Seven years and two adorable but insane children later, and I can honestly say that I love her more today than I ever have before and I know that fifty years from now I'll be able to say the same thing.

So Babe, on this day I want to thank you for being seven things in my life: 1. My Best friend, 2. My example, 3. My motivation, 4. My companion, 5. My eternal girlfriend ;) 6. My greatest blessing, and 7. The love of my life. Happy Anniversary.

Love,

Jordan

It's Been Seven Years and I'm Not Itchin'!!!

I've never seen this movie, but I've often heard the old saying about 'the seven year itch' and it has always made me wonder how I would feel about my spouse after seven years of marriage. Does seven years bring this inevitable boredom that all couples face simply because it has been so long? Or does lucky number seven mean you begin to wonder if you were really that lucky after all? Maybe it has nothing to do with the marriage at all, maybe you're just itchy because you still have the same darn sheets you were given at your wedding seven years ago. So now that the anticipated seven years is here I would like to announce that I am not itchy. Here are seven reasons why Jordy is my Calamine Lotion:

1. He is my friend. Seven years and I still really like this boy!

2. He's helping me make some pretty cute babies (if I do say so myself.)

3. He is a great back scratcher...Which could be related to the seven years no itch thing!

4. He is just a good boy. I was never even attracted to the idea of taming the bad boy. I just wanted someone who tried to do what was right and who I could trust with my heart.

5. I think Jordan is so stinkin' cute! Seriously, and those lips....

6. He knows me inside and out and still seems pretty smitten.

7. F o r e v e r. Seven letters to a word that perfectly describe my intentions with this boy of seven years.

Happy Anniversary Babe!

So unfortunately the dealers at Let's Make A Deal decided not include the segment where we won $200! Darn! You can still get little glimpses of us in the audience but our deal wasn't shown on t.v. There goes my claim to fame!

We Were On Let's Make A Deal!!!

I still need to blog about our trip to Cali, but really quick we were on Let's Make A Deal a couple of months ago and the show is on TODAY!!! Here in AZ it comes on at 2:00pm CBS...
Gotta watch to see what we won :O)

Happy Mother's Day

I think I look forward to this day as much as my birthday (probably more because I don't have to turn a year older!) Since motherhood is my career and mission, it is so great to have an entire day celebrating and appreciating that role. I am so grateful for the fantastic mothers in my life (especially my own) and I am so grateful for my babies who made me a mother! Oh yeah, and I am also grateful for Jordy who let me sleep in this morning and wake up to a delicious breakfast! Long Live Mother's Day!!

I saved the best for last!

Here is my last post about our Utah trip. One of the major highlights, and actually the whole reason why we went to Utah, was to attend the sealing of our friends Tyler and Cathy to their new baby girl. Isn't she beautiful! It was so incredible to know that this little family is forever, and it was awesome to see our friends as new parents! We love you guys! Congratulations!!
