New Years Resolution Revisited

One of my resolutions from 2008 was to become a better blogger. With all of the craziness of kids and life, it's the best way for me to keep a journal of our family. So, in lieu of that goal, I am finally going to catch up on November....

Thanksgiving:

My mom came to visit! She was incredibly wonderful cleaning my house and taking care of me. She even gave me and Jordan foot rubs. Thanks Mom...I love you!!

Our friends Jenn and Tim, graciously invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner. Jenn put on an amazing spread and her table was really beautiful!

A work of Art!

I just had to write a quick post about this amazing thing my Mother in Law did for us! She came out to watch Skyler's birth, and she basically didn't stop cooking the entire time she was here. She ended up putting 20 frozen dinners in our freezer for us, making it so I don't have to cook until after Christmas (now that's love I tell ya!). I thought it was cute how she numbered each dinner and made a numbered list on our fridge, telling us what each dinner is and the cooking instructions. To me, this picture represents a wonderful work of art! Thanks Marilynn!!

The look says it all.

Jordan took this picture in a moment of despair when I was feeling very heavy and pregnant. Don't worry Skyler-boy, I haven't met you yet, but something tells me all of this is going to be totally worth it!

A Happy Halloween

Halloween is with out a doubt, Thais's favorite holiday because it is an event solely based around obtaining candy. We let her go to town Halloween night, eating candy to her heart's content, and then a few days later it all mysteriously disappeared. I don't know if I needed to throw it out more for Thais's sake or mine. Atleast it's gone now and I can go back to fixing my sugar addiction in obscure ways like eating chocolate chips out of the freezer!

How cute is our little purple witch?

This picture is a little fuzzy, but I love it because we put makeup on her and her lashes are awesome! She must have got that from the Monson side because Mama sure doesn't have them.

I love how kids bring back the magic in every holiday.

Tea Party

My Friend Sabrin invited Thais and I to this really cool place in Tucson called Party in a pinch;where they do themed parties and activities for children. The day we went it was a "Tea Party" theme, and Thais had so much fun dressing up and doing the little activities they had for the kids. Her favorite part was actually getting to drink the "tea" (fruit punch) with lollipop spoons to stir it with. Oh the fun of being a Girl!!
