Picture's of some firsts..
This is a picture of Skyler's FIRST haircut. He was going bald all along the center back of his head and then had this huge patch of hair toward the bottom. So Jordan decided to give his son his first fade.
This is a picture of Carter and Thais having a play date. This picture belongs in the post of firsts because Carter was Thais's FIRST kiss. She was nine months old and Thais tottered over to Carter, wrapped her arms around his neck and plopped down on his lap and just planted one on him! They both have large gorgeous lips..maybe it was meant to be :O)
Last week Skyler Laughed for the very FIRST time. I thought he did in the store a few weeks ago, but this was continuous, blissful laughter as I tickled him for several minutes. It's my favorite sound in the world!

A Few Random Pictures
My Skylee Boy has changed so much just in the last little bit, so I thought the family might want to see some updates. He loves this little Bumbo chair! It makes him feel so grown up to be sitting upright! Doesn't he look JUST like his daddy!?!
This was Thais's first trip to the Dentist. We discovered the other day that she had a cavity and we took her to a friend/Dentist in the ward to check it out and we received the sad news that it was not one but three! He asked if she eats a lot of raisins (she lived off of them for like a year of her life), and he asked if drinks a lot of juice (almost more than water!). So pretty much her teeth or completely my fault, but we did get some fluoride tablets so hopefully that will do the trick!
Thais loved the "clown nose" the put on her. Dr Echols told her it smells like yummy strawberries so she had no problems keeping it on.

I had to post this picture because this is just so Thais. She adores her stuffed animals and Dinosaur figurines, and spends hours every day playing with them. Here she has them all lined up perfectly to watch a movie with her. What a cute kid!

Valentines Day
I made Jordan Promise not to get me flowers for Valentines Day (because they seem a little superfluous considering the economic state of things) but Valentines Day morning, I awoke to Thais laying tulips on my pillow, and Jordan with a smirk on his face said, "you didn't say Thais couldn't get you flowers!" They were beautiful and so was the omelet Jordan made me!

If at first you don't succeed....
I am NOT a baker, so on my Bucket List I have a goal to be able to make bread. I'm talking like amazing, melt in your mouth loaves, that my children will talk about with awe as they reminisce on their mother's skills. The first picture below (exhibit A) was the goal; a nice thick loaf that I was dying to eat today with butter and Raspberry Jam.
